MUSIC MINISTRY

Music lies at the heart of worship at St. David’s Episcopal Church, shaping

our common prayer and giving voice to the richness of the Anglican

tradition. Rooted in this heritage, our music reflects both the timeless beauty of historic sacred repertoire and the vitality of music being written today, all thoughtfully chosen to align with the liturgical year and the readings appointed for each service.

The parish choir leads music at our principal services, offering anthems

and service music while supporting and encouraging congregational singing. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m., providing a consistent time for fellowship, musical growth, and preparation for worship. Singers of all experience levels are warmly welcomed and invited to take part in this shared ministry.

In addition to the choir, St. David’s fosters a broader musical life through a variety of ensembles and opportunities for instrumentalists and soloists. Across seasons and services, music at St. David’s seeks to deepen our worship, build community, and offer the gifts of all who are called to participate.

All are invited to join in making music to the glory of God.
