STEWARDSHIP
FEED MY SHEEP
Our 2026 stewardship campaign, Feed My Sheep, draws its name from Jesus' words in John 21. This instruction by Jesus is a reminder of our call to care for one another, both spiritually and physically. We invite you into a season of prayer, reflection, and generosity as we look to the year ahead.
WHY WE GIVE
Everything we have ultimately belongs to God. We are simply caretakers, or stewards, of the resources he has entrusted to us. When we give, we participate in God's work here at St. David's and beyond our walls. Generous giving supports the ministries and people we love, and it shapes us, opening our hearts to trust God more fully with everything we have. God is the giver of every good gift, and he invites us to share in the giving.
MAKING YOUR 2026 PLEDGE
Each year, members of St. David's make an annual pledge, which is simply a prayerful commitment to support the church through regular giving, typically in monthly gifts. Your pledge, whatever the amount, helps our clergy and vestry plan responsibly and fund the mission and ministries of St. David's in the coming year.
Whether you are beginning to give, maintaining your current commitment, or increasing your gift, every pledge matters. If you join the church mid-year, you are always welcome to become a pledging member at any time. We ask that you prayerfully consider what God is calling you to give, not out of obligation, but as a faithful and joyful response to his generosity.

A PRAYER FOR GIVING
Gracious and generous God,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude. St. David’s has been the source of blessing for so many. We offer thanks for the many gifts you have
given us - our time, our talents, and our resources. Help us remember always that these gifts are not solely for our own benefit, but are entrusted to us so that we may serve others. Guide us to be good stewards of all that You have given, that we may use our unique gifts to minister to one another, sharing joyfully as a reflection of your love and grace. Inspire us to give not out of obligation, but with thankful hearts, recognizing that in sharing, we are enriched and strengthened as a community. Let our acts of kindness and generosity echo your light, drawing others to experience the joy of your presence. We pray this in name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen.
